Nov. 11, 2019 Update
It has now been almost 6 months since we graduated from our School of Strategic Missions (SOSM). I think we may have found a solution to our search for a way to send out updates that our friends and family will actually see! The ways we have tried so far just seem to get lost in the deluge of information that comes into everyone on a daily basis. If we have your number, in the coming weeks you should see a text come through from us with an update tidbit, giving you the opportunity to click through and read a more detailed update on our website if you choose, or to opt out of any future text communications from us. We will be using a service that allows us to send these out en masse, and still receive your individual responses privately back to us. We are excited to have a much better way to communicate and update everyone on what we’re up to, as well as to hear back from you!
Well, it’s debrief week again on base – that means that the latest (Summer 2019) classes, including the Family DTS, are back from their 2 month outreaches and spending one last week debriefing together on base. This weekend we will attend their graduation and they will all move on to whatever God has next for each of them. Hard to believe it’s been a year since we graduated from our Family/Crossroads DTS! And what a year. We are long overdue for an update, but there is so much that I decided to write a few short posts on the different aspects of our life and ministry here over the past several months. If you haven’t yet seen our video outlining the Vision & Strategy God gave us during the course of our SOSM, you can find it here. Be forewarned, it is about 20 minutes long. If you don’t have time for that, no worries, I will give you a quick outline in this series of posts.
